Swimming in the rain, just swimming in the rain....

One of the things we have found that we LOVE to do is swim in the rain. The kids think it's fantastic. It was really pouring this day.

Waving hello to Mommy while underwater. Aren't they talented??

The rain slowed down a bit so it was time to run and jump in the pool. Jordan starts holding her breath all the way at the fence. She usually has to stop at the edge to get a breath again.

This is Jacob's latest thing, surfing on the boogie board. No fear for this kiddo.

Here's Jordan gettng ready to take the Nestee Plunge!

This is Jacob's version of the Nestee Plunge!

ABC's and 123's

I have been trying to get a video of the kids saying their ABC's forever! What better place to try than when they are all buckeld up in the car and can't wander away. They were very chatty and we able to get them to spell their names as well. Jacob saying his ABC's is a riot! He is such a goof ball. Enjoy.

July 4th Parade

We had an amazing 4th of July. We went to a parade in Round Top. It's about an hour from here. The town itself is like Mayberry. It had a really cute town square. I think the population is around 500. Anyway, they have been doing a parade on the 4th for about 150 years. We got there around 9:30 to stake out our spot and it was a good thing we did, the place was packed. The parade was fantastic. Fire trucks, horses, 4 wheelers, all kinds of antique cars and even a full brass band. We all had a great time and plan on making it an annual event. Here we are waiting for the parade to start.

All of the floats in the parade were throwing candy to the crowd. The wagon was a candy magnet! Needless to say we ended up with a TON. Jacob and Jordan used to think that Dum-Dums were the only kind of candy. Not so much anymore. Sweet tarts,Tootsie Rolls, Smarties and Tootsie Pops are now in their vocabulary.

Coming down the street next is a float with a full country music band on it! The kids obviously like it!

Little Miss July 4th waving her flag to the parade people.

Yes, those are Longhorn Steer coming down the street!! Only in a Texas 4th of July parade!

A covered wagon and decked out horses.

One of the kids on a float threw their hat to Jacob. Just what every Texas boy needs, a hat advertising liquid fertilizer!

We hope that all of you had a great Fourth of July!!

Underwater adventures

Jacob and Jordan are doing amazing in the water since they finished swim lessons. They rarely wear their life jackets anymore. Both of them are diving for rings and rockets at the bottom of the pool, jumping and belly flopping off the diving rock over and over and over again.
It seems that lately they spend most of their time in the pool underwater. We thought it would be fun to get a camera and take some pictures of them having fun. Here are some of our favorites.

We hope everyone has a fantastic 4Th of July.
