Last day of school in the Pooh Bear Class

It was Jacob and Jordan's last day of school today. We will be going back to the same pre-school next year. The kids are super excited about being in the Fish Class next year. The picture below is from today and the picture below that is from the first day of school in September. They sure have changed in just one school year!

They really do like each other. Most of the time anyway!

Both Rob and I think he looks like such a big boy in this picture

Such a big girl

They were both being so silly posing for pictures this morning. It was fun watching them.

I didn't even have to ask them to put their arms around each other.

Look how strong he is!!

Camryn and Jacob. They look so cute together.

Jacob, Camryn, Jordan and Lauren before school. I sure hope these 4 will be friends for a long time even though Camryn and Lauren will be starting Kindergarten in the fall.

Jordan working on an art project in class.

Jacob's future profession?

Their teacher, Mrs. Frogge.

Their other teacher, Ms. Jackie

All done with school now!
Jacob, Lauren, Jordan, Matt, Ben and Camryn

We took the kids out for ice cream to celebrate their last day of school. The flavor Jacob chose was Wild and Reckless and Jordan chose Cotton Candy!! How appropriate!
They are growing up so fast. I am so thankful that I have them to myself for one more year before they go off to Kindergarten!!!

Jacob learns to ride a bike with NO training wheels!!

Here are some videos of Jacob's first shot at riding his bike with no training wheels. These movies were taken at the end of March. You can see that he doesn't really like it when Rob lets go. We are still working on that. Jacob says he is afraid of falling. Jacob afraid of falling?? Go figure. We are sure soon enough he will be off and riding just fine. Enjoy the videos.

Oh, the places we get to visit...

Oh my gosh!! This place we got to visit for playgroup was incredible!! We went in late March, so the weather was perfect. This is the home of the Lanier's. Mr. Lanier is a prominent local attorney. Their home is in NW Houston on 28 acres. It is like Disney World. A fellow Mother of Multiples, Kelly, gives their kids music lessons. Mrs. Lanier said she would love to have all of us at her home for a playgroup. She loves to see little ones on her property enjoying all the things they have to offer. We were very glad to take her up on her offer. About 60 of us showed up! Every year the Laniers have a great big Christmas party at their home. This year their entertainment was Miley Cirus!! Yes, Hannah Montana!!! When viewing these pictures keep in mind that this is a PRIVATE residence and NOT a park!!

Statues like these are all
over the property. Behind the kids is one of two train stations. Yes, they have a train!!

Gorgeous fountains also! These are Jacob and Jordan's friends, Eli and Chloe.

This is a little island in the middle of a huge pond. There is a neat bridge you have to cross over to get there.

The huge pond.

One of the many pieces of playground equipment.

All the freinds looking at the animals that the Laniers keep on thier property. That's a Llama in the background.

One of the many birds they have. In this cage with the birds were 3 Lemurs. They were so cute and tame. They were grabbing my nose and rubbing my cheek. Really cool.

Yes, this is a kangaroo!!

I took this picture while riding the train around the property. You can see part of the playground in the distance.

The 2nd train station.

Jordan checking out all the nooks and crannys.

We were lucky enough to visit when baby piglets had just been born. The kids loved seeing them.

Everyone brought their kids ride on toys. Plenty of wide open spaces and sidewalks for them to ride on.

Taking a train ride. Pretty nice train to have at your house, huh? We had so many kiddos and Moms that we had to have two seperate train rides.

This is a building under construction on the property. From what I understand, this is a replica of a church in Rome. They will be using it as a concert hall.

Another view from the train.

Jordan back at the train station.

Jacob, Jordan and I hopped on the 2nd train ride!! Jacob the goofball!

That's Kelly waving to us, the one who arranged for us to visit. Her kids are on the train with me.

The picnic area at the playground.

In February Rob, Jacob, Jordan and I went to Brazos Bend State Park. This place was so pretty. There was a ton of wildlife for the kids to see and trails to ride on. We saw a show with the "Bird Lady" she was about 70 and traveled the country in a van showing off her rescued birds. The kids loved it. These pictures are from a look out tower where we could see a lot of alligators.
