Day 22-I didn't do it!

Piper said he didn't do it! He is hanging on Grandma and Grandpa's door!
When we opened the door this is what we found!

I hope Piper knows how expensive Charmin Ultra is!! We leave for Austin today for a little road trip. I wonder if Piper will come with us?

Day 20-Flying high with Dasher and Dancer

Piper decided to take Santa's reindeer for a ride last night!
It's the last day of school before Christmas break! A day filled with fun and their Christmas party! Jacob is staying home again today. No flu or strep but a horrible cough that kept him awake for most of the night. I'll be bringing him home all the treats that they get from the party. Sad that he is missing out on this fun day at school.
Jordan and Karlee are all decked out in their Christmas finest. Scooter apparently thought that he also needed to be in on the photo shoot. He just came over and sat down!

Looking forward to a long break with the kids! Grandma and Grandpa arrive tomorrow and we are headed to Austin for a couple of days of much needed relaxing!

Day 19-Mini pancakes

Piper and his friends are giving Rob a run for his money in the pancake department!

Today at school the entire 3rd grade got to wear PJ's! They are having a fun day filled with stories read to them from all the 3rd grade teachers, hot chocolate and S'mores. They didn't even have to bring their binders with them in their backpacks. That means NO SCHOOLWORK all day!
Poor Jacob is missing all this fun. He is home sick today. Only a doctors appointment in his future today. Maybe some Minecraft on the computer.
Here is the photo shoot Jordan and Karlee requested before school.
This is their "cool" pose!
Sweet girls with Clarise and Rudolph
For this picture I told the girls to think about going on their first date! Love the different reactions from them! You can tell who has a brother!

Day 18-Video from Santa!

Jordan wrote Piper another note and asked him to hide in her room. She is getting tired of Jacob and Karlee finding him first and telling her where he is. So of course he obliged her.
The P.S. part of that note is the reason that we keep on doing this!
Here he is hiding in a drawer in Jordan's shelf. It took her awhile to find him and needed Jacob's and Karlee's help! An Email from Santa!!
There's Jacob! On Santa's monitor.
Jordan is also
One of the elves in the video
The big man himself!
Another elf. The videos are great and the kids look forward to them every year.
I'm going to try to include the links here so you all can view them yourselves if you want to.

Day 17-Candy Cane Hunt

This was a lot of fun for the kids! Jacob found his so fast! Karlee was next to find all  3 of hers and Jordan could only find 2. Rob hid them and even he couldn't find the last one. We figured that Scooter must have eaten it! Rob quickly ran into our room and got another one and hid that for her to find. All was well and she found her 3rd one.
17 days of Piper, whew!

Nice hair Jordan!!

Day 16-The Elfing!!

It is never a good thing when Piper has a marker in his hands!
This what the kids woke up to this morning:
Jacob was NOT happy to have been "Elfed" He washed it off before going to school! Jordan, she made hers darker!!
Jordan's hair this morning for school! Is that so cute or what!
She has on the other shirt I made for her
Silly girl!
Jordan left a note for Piper with a lot of questions! Of course he answered back....
Piper's answers
Jordan also drew him a picture on the back of her note.....
So, Piper drew her a picture back....

Time to get a Christmas Tree!!

We have been going to the same place to get a tree for years! Spring Creek Growers is a great place and we have a blast every time! We found our tree in about 5 minutes this year. That is unheard of for us. The kids were apprehensive about talking with Santa this year. They said that they were older now and only needed to write letters! Nope! I told them that of course they didn't have to sit on his lap anymore and that I would take a picture with them and Santa. I also told them that their chances of getting what they asked for increased exponentially if they actually talked to Santa in person! Tis the season on little white lies!
Anyway, we had a great family day and got a great tree!
That's our tree behind Jacob
Yep, that's a giant bear at the Christmas tree farm!
They still love playing together, well most of the time anyway!

Duck races!
By far the most fun they had today was in this huge stack of hay!

Wow! No fear whatsoever!
Love this picture of him

And I love this one of Jordan, pure joy!!
Oh my gosh he is so close to that 5 foot mark! YIKES!

I'll need to find the pictures of when we first came here, in a stroller!
Oh yeah, sitting on Santa's lap! Victory-MOMMY!!
Santa, I would like an Ipad(Jordan) Santa, I would like an X-Box one(Jacob)
I had to keep my promise and have a picture taken with Santa! No problem! He sure didn't ask me what I wanted! I didn't even get a candy cane! Sigh.....
I loved everything about this day! I am so lucky to have such a great family!
