Uncle Tommy comes to town

Jacob and Jordan got a huge surprise when they woke up. Their uncle Tommy had come in town! They were so happy to see him. There was one small catch though, Tom was here to work. Tom would have to go to work M-F but would be able to come back to the house in time for dinner and to help get the kids ready for bed. We were thrilled that he would also be staying through the next weekend with us. The kids just adore their Uncle Tommy!

Where is Uncle Tommy??

The kids woke up this morning and there was NO Uncle Tommy!! Jordan was so sad. She must have cried for about a half an hour. We even had to call him just to tell him how sad she was. She ended up being to sad to even talk to him! They just don't understand why he isn't staying with them 24/7. Thank goodness we had playgroup that day. We went to a new bouncy place called Scramblers. It has the typical bouncy houses but it also has this gigantic Victorian playhouse with a slide, swing, upstairs, kitchen and opening windows. All the kids just love it!

This is what they call the Scrambler. It is 2 stories of fun. There are nets to climb on, balls that you have to crawl over to get through to the other side and tunnel slides to go down. It is really great fun for the kids and it is so different from any other play thing we have seen. It really challenges them to get through it.

Best of friends............

Uncle Tommy finally comes home from work!!

A rainy day and Tom is at work

Well, it was raining here and we needed to find something to do while Uncle Tommy was at work. So, what else but play in the rain!

Jacob and Jordan begged me to take a bath. We never do anymore, to messy and it takes to long!

Rob brought our flippers out to the pool and the kids were always wanting to put them on. They obviously would fall off of their feet and it made them mad. So we decided to get them their own. The flippers are really helping them keep their legs straight when they kick. They also like the fact that they go super sonic fast with them on.

A splash pad day

Uncle Tommy surprised Jacob and Jordan by showing up at the splash pad we go to all of the time. He was able to get off work early. Needless to say, they were thrilled!

Back at home. Yes, we're in the pool.

This is Jordan's idea of a really high throw.

Just hanging out with Uncle Tommy

The twins were so excited to go for a ride in Tom's way cool car. I was also really excited because it meant that I got the whole house to myself!!

You think she loves him or what?

This kid lives in the pool. He's growing scales!

Uncle Tommy can really throw Jacob high in the sky! Better him than me. Yes, Jacob is nakadidity!!

Batter up

And he's rounding second.......

What form Jacob has. Major league here he comes!

Last day in Houston

It's Uncle Tommy's last day today. What better way to spend it than in the pool, again!

Daddy and Jacob

Tom and Jacob playing tackle football. I'm glad it was in the water, I didn't want to see Jacob hurt Uncle Tommy

What a goober!!!

Jordan shakes water from her suit to cool off the super hot rocks!

Sad kiddos! They are just realizing that going home means going away from our house!

Last hugs and kisses

Love on the dog

This is a video my brother, Tom, took when he was here back in the spring. I had not seen it before. Too cute!

I'm working on getting some pictures and videos together from Tom's last visit.
