Whew!! What a season this has been. This year has been so much fun for us as the kids really got into Christmas this year. It was great to watch them enjoy it and anticipate Santa's arrival so much. Rob was even super excited about Christmas this year.
We started a new tradition this year. We had an Elf on the Shelf named Piper. Every night after the kiddos went to bed Piper would fly back to the North Pole and report to Santa how the twins had been that day, naughty or nice? Piper would then fly back to our house and Jacob and Jordan would have to find him in his hiding spot in the morning. They both loved having to look for him. Piper would always be way up high because if you touched him he would lose his magic. Jacob even told one of the many Santas that we saw this season about Piper. I can't wait to do it again next year.
Below are pictures and videos from our season of fun. I will post actual Christmas photos in my next Blog post.
These Santa photos are from my Mother's of Multiples kids Christmas social. It was a great party hosted by a fellow MOM who opened up her home to about 100 people!! There were all kinds of crafts for the kids to do and each table had helpers from the local high school.

Here we are at High Star Christmas Tree Farm to get our Frasier Fur. It was a chilly day and that only added to the holiday feeling. There is so much to do here at the farm besides just get your tree. There are train rides, hay rides, hot chocolate, a huge haystack to jump in, a wooden maze and of course, visiting with Santa.
This Santa is apparently more comfortable in jeans than in the traditional red pants!!
Jordan in the maze. She was great at figuring out how to get out of here. She was even going back in to help other people get out!
They made it out!!
Jordan on the hay ride. This was really fun. We would make stops to pick up people who were cutting down their Christmas tress. The kids kept asking the tractor driver to go faster.
The train ride at the farm.
Here we are with our friends at a bowling playgroup. They all had so much fun. It was great to watch them getting the ball down the lane any way they could!
A party just for Moms!! No kiddos!! My friend Crystal had a little Christmas party for just Moms while our kids were in school, only babies were allowed. It was great to get to talk to my friends with out being constantly interrupted by all the munchkins. Crystal is from Louisiana so she had prepared some great food for us, specifically rice and gravy. We all had been begging her to make it for us. It was delicious. The day went by way to fast and before we knew it it was time to pick up the kids from school. I really have made some terrific girl friends here in Texas. I am really grateful for them.
Oh yeah, Jacob is going to love this one when I show it to his first girlfriend!!This is one of my all time favorite videos of the kids. I just love the way they keep looking at each other. Enjoy!!
