Uncle Tommy's surprise visit

What a great day this is going to be! Rob has taken the day off from work to attend playgroup with us. We also have a HUGE surprise planned for Jacob and Jordan. We started the day with a train ride to drop us off at the Miller Outdoor Theater to see Peter and the Wolf.

The first half of the play was different than we expected. It was like a music lesson. The characters introduced us to the instruments that would represent them later in the play. J & J were very interested in this. Some of the other kiddos in our group were not so interested and very restless!

It is the beginning of June and what is a hot June day with out ice cream???

Rob and I told the kids that we were taking them to the
airport to watch airplanes take off. An adventure all on
it's own.......only there's more!!

Don't be fooled, there are tears under those Foster
Grants!! Mine too!

I didn't think Jordan would ever let go of Uncle Tommy.

Jacob just loves him to death.

Jacob and Jordan came and got me with a very important
mission. They wanted to put their Gator outfits on and
surprise their uncle.....

Tom brought a new toy for the kids, and Rob. A race car computer game. All 3 of them were instantly hooked, and still are! Rob had to put it on his computer.

Well, it's Sunday now and time for Uncle Tommy to go back to the airport. The visit has been short but wonderful. I know that J & J wish Uncle Tommy could stay here forever. I just wish he lived closer so visits could be more frequent!

We went and had haircuts. Jacob's cut is Toms influence!! Not my favorite cut. I think Jacob went from a Ralph Lauren ad to a Wal-Mart ad!! Hair grows......thank goodness!!!
